Participate and learn about activities that engage students in topics from descriptive statistics to inference. There will also be a discussion in how we can use AI to help us with our lessons.
Scott Galson is Math & Computer Science Dept Head at Walter Payton. He has M.S. in Mathematics Education and Teacher Leadership from Northwestern University; Achieved National Board Certification in 2008; Received the Siemens AP Teacher of the Year award for Illinois in 2009; Golden Apple Award in 2013; Math Team coach. He and his wife lived for two years in Suriname, South America as volunteers in the Peace Corps. He enjoys the outdoors with his wife and three sons. He loves to bike, hike, ski, fly fish, and travel during the summer.
